Types of "Dollars" Available
Below are descriptions of type of "dollars" used around campus.
FREDFunds
A taxable declining balance tender available to all FREDCard holders that can be used to purchase a wide variety of products and services on the SUNY Fredonia campus and at participating off campus merchants for the cardholder and/or their friends, relatives or guests.
Debit Account
A taxable declining balance tender available to SUNY Fredonia students that can be used to purchase a wide variety of products and services on the SUNY Fredonia campus for the cardholder and/or their friends, relatives or guests.
Points
A non-taxable declining balance tender that is used solely for the purchase of food items at accepting locations on campus. The amount of the transaction is deducted from your points account in order to pay for the purchase of your meal.
Points are for the personal use of the meal plan holder only. Points are non-refundable unless a student officially withdraws from SUNY Fredonia.
Additional points may be added to your account at any time at the FSA Office in Gregory Hall or online.
Meals
A board type tender that is included with student meal plans 1 through 4 offered by the Faculty Student Association. One meal will be deducted from your account to enjoy a meal at one of our all you care to eat dining facilities.
Meals are for the personal use of the meal plan holder only. Meals are non-refundable unless a student officially withdraws from SUNY Fredonia.
Feed-A-Friend
A complimentary meal available to students on meal plans 1 through 5 that can be used to feed a friend, relative or guest at the Marketplace at Erie or Cranston Marché during normal serving hours.
